Royal Decoration for Foppe Vogd!

Foppe.ENG.2017.jpgTuesday 25 April 2017

Our honorary member Foppe Vogd was appointed as Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau by the willingness of Her Majesty The Queen of The Netherlands. The royal decoration was presented by Cees van der Knaap (Mayor of Ede).

Foppe receives the royal decoration because of his contribution during many years to represent the users of ICT. His important contribution to the foundation and growth of IT Service Management Forum and in succession CIO Platform Nederland, alongside his paid job at the Ministry of Finance,  were the incentive for his decoration.

He was also honoured because of his engagement to successfully deploy people with autism within the ICT production- and testing process. For example by merging small initiatives into the cooperation IN2IT.

His drive and enthusiasm, down to earth approach and his unconventional way of working brought a lot of success and is rewarded by his appointment of Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau. Our congratulations to Foppe!
